Dog and Puppy Training Classes
Puppy Socialization This class is designed to get your puppy started on the right paw! The main focus of this class is to socialize your puppy to other dogs, people, sounds, etc. While socializing in a safe, controlled environment, we also start teaching some basic commands. Using all positive reinforcement, puppies learn which behaviors are appropriate and which aren't! For puppies ages 8-16 weeks old First puppy vaccinations required including Bordetella First week lecture class, owners only Five-week class $140 includes all supplies  Puppy Class must be prepaid
Obedience I: This class focuses on furthering your puppies education. It is also a great starting point for adult dogs that have had little or no training. Commands are taught using the clicker method. All sessions are designed to make learning fun for both you and your dog. Dogs must be at least four months of age Puppy class is recommended Dogs must be current on all vaccines including Bordetella First week lecture class, owners only Seven-week class $140 includes all supplies          Private Training: Great for newly adopted dogs that have little or no training or if you can't wait for a class to start. Private training is designed to work on your dogs specific needs. Call to see if private training is right for you and your dog! Private one and a half hour session $100 In-home or in-office  Travel beyond 15 miles $2 a mile	Obedience II: This class is designed for the more advanced dog and challenges the owner as well! We focus on commands with distractions  and begin working with verbal cues as well as hand signals and off-leash heeling. Stay and distant down are fine tuned. Dogs must have completed Obedience I Must be at least 6 months of age Current on all vaccinations including Bordetella Seven-week class $140 includes all supplies         K9 Musical Freestyle This up and coming new sport is a combination of obedience, trick moves, and jumps. Set to music this is fun for both dogs and owners. Come watch! Dogs must know basic obedience and heel. Current on all vaccinations including Bordetella No dance experience needed! On going class Six weeks $100
